the fitness business for 30 years as a personal trainer, group fitness instructor, weight loss coach, teacher, author and professor of health science
and personal wellness. She has written articles
for QualityHealth.com, HealthMonitor.com, Health Monitor, Seattle Woman and Ms. Fitness magazines. She has also been quoted in FITNESS, Costco Connection, Arthritis Today, Natural Solutions, Glamour and Runner’s World.
Marnie’s passion and enthusiasm for health and fitness led her to write Choosing Your Healthy Path:
A 24-Week Inspirational Guide to Weight Loss and Wellness. The book is designed to guide people week by week, chapter by chapter, through 6 months of weight loss and wellness coaching.
Marnie has an undergraduate degree in health and physical education from Washington State University and a master’s degree in exercise physiology from Seattle Pacific University.
She is a long time resident of the Pacific Northwest having grown up in Seattle, attending Queen Anne High School and summering in the south sound area.
