Getting Here Grounds Tour

Family-Friendly Spring Break Getaway to Alderbrook Resort & Spa

People always ask me if Alderbrook is family friendly. . .uuuhhh, yes-it’s my family’s favorite spot to get away, so even when I’m not working, you may see me out here! In fact, we spent a few days here over Spring Break. I was working part of the time (on Alderbrook’s complimentary wifi!) and playing part of the time.

First stop is always the indoor pool. We spend lots of time there! A few of our other favorite things to do include making smores by the fire pit. . .(we enjoy this even during the winter), playing with the resident kitties—Alder and Brook, walking on Alderbrook’s amazing trails where there is even complimentary geocaching available if you feel like adding a little more adventure and excitement to your family hike.

Our kiddos love art projects so the complimentary sketch books and pencils in the room are wonderful along w/ the art stations throughout the resort. One is located up near the Xbox game room which Dad loves to frequent w/ the kids while I enjoy some relaxation time in the spa. Thanks Hon 😊

While we aren’t enjoying all of the above, you can probably find us running around on the Cottage Lawn playing one of the many games Alderbrook has for their guests to enjoy or dining in the restaurant which has a huge children’s menu and fun pictures for the kids to color. (My kids prefer “room service” so we do give in to that at least once but the hubs and I like the restaurant so we can easily order another drink if need be 😊).

Seriously, if you are looking for a place to get away with your kids you should check out Alderbrook Resort & Spa…my son just said he likes Alderbrook best, even over Hawaii and Disneyland!! I like it best because it’s only a few hours from home so we can make last minute plans on a whim!
