Mark Phelan – Director of Sales

Mark has been with Alderbrook Resort since the reopening in 2004. He has over 20 years experience in the hospitality industry, working in restaurants, private clubs, and hotels. Mark has held several positions at the Alderbrook, including Banquet Manager, Food and Beverage Director, and Director of Catering. For the past several years, Mark has been the Director of Sales.  Outside of work, Mark enjoys spending time with his family, watching sports and kayaking.

Kimberly Wyckoff – Senior Sales Manager

With more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Kimberly was drawn to Alderbrook Resort & Spa because of its beauty and healthy work-life balance. After 10 years of being a part of the Alderbrook family, she still strives to create that same special feeling for each client and guest. It is not only a place of work but also where she and her family vacation to make their own Northwest memories. Kimberly resides in Woodinville, WA with her husband and two children.

Kristin Wiseman – Sales Manager

Kristin brings 20 plus years of experience in the hospitality industry with extensive work with the public in Hotel operations and sales positions. Formerly with Westcoast Hotels, Kristin managed multiple departments in an open, positive and rewarding manner as a leader and educator. Joining the Alderbrook team in 2005, Kristin offers vision, experience, energy, and professionalism to exceed the guests’ expectations for successful and memorable stays in planning special events as a Sales Manager for the Resort. Originally from the Hood Canal area, her involvement with local area organizations and beyond has not only provided valuable contacts with community leaders, but instills a sense of pride for both herself and the resort in the local community. Kristin resides in Belfair with her family.

Liv Bourne – Director of Catering

With 10 years’ experience working in the event industry for Fairmont Hotels and Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, Liv found her home at Alderbrook Resort & Spa. She grew up in the Olympia area and graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Hospitality Business Management. Liv fell in love with Alderbrook when she and her husband married at the property in 2015, and joined our team shortly after. She is currently pursuing an MBA with a focus in Hospitality Management at Washington State University and enjoys cooking, wine and traveling with her husband and family.

Amy Lugo – Senior Catering Sales Manager

A member of our sales team since 2010, Amy brings knowledge and experience from several years in operations at Alderbrook and in the hospitality industry. Past leadership roles as a Banquet Captain and Assistant Banquet Manager strengthened her attention to detail and created a sense of pride in exceeding the expectations of clients and guests. Having grown up in the Hood Canal area, Amy continues to reside locally with her husband and children.

Tailer Meikle – Catering Coordinator

Tailer has 8 years in the customer service industry with extensive work in hospitality. She has worked in various outlets in the Resort and has found that catering might be her true calling. She loves making guests feel special and pampered while giving them the best customer service possible. Tailer grew up in the Olympia area and still resides in the region with her fiancé, 3 dogs and her cat.
