Alderbrook Resort & Spa rests peacefully along miles of walking and hiking trails, serving as a top destination for avid outdoor enthusiasts.

With comfortable benches lining the trails, guests can stop to sit, rest and enjoy the soft, natural sounds of the forest. From an adventurous and rustic Big Tree Loop trail to the longer Huckleberry Hillclimb trail, there is a route for every age and skill level.

Alderbrook’s geocaching program allows outdoor adventurers the opportunity to explore the lush grounds surrounding the Resort, with 36 official geocaches on the property. The Resort offers complimentary GPS-activated geocaching devices to guests, and the geocaches are accessible to beginners and experts alike. The program is constantly evolving, creating new caches waiting to be discovered.

Alderbrook Resort & Spa is pleased to offer guests access to the Alderbrook Golf Club, a PGA-class golf course located up the hill from the Resort. The course is consistently ranked one of the top 25 courses in the Northwest for both its spectacular scenery and playability. Open year-round, the par 72 course offers rolling fairways and a spectacular natural setting. Full-service amenities include a pro shop, restaurant, driving range, private lessons and car rentals. The Alderbrook Golf Club can also accommodate tournaments for groups of 16 or more.

Nearby adventures to the Olympic National Park, Lake Cushman, Twanoh, Potlatch State Park and other world-class destinations make Alderbrook the perfect basecamp for the serious outdoor adventure enthusiasts or boater. Boats can be launched at Hood Canal Marina, less than two miles from the Resort.

Yoga enthusiasts with all levels of practice can enjoy relaxed yoga every week, throughout the year with an aqua yoga class in the glass-enclosed saltwater pool as well as a waterfront yoga class held on the lawn or inside the pool house depending on the weather. Revel in the serenity of the new month with a monthly full moon yoga class also held on the waterfront throughout the year.
